26-28 April 2017: Research and Practice Conference “Technological innovations in traumatology, orthopedics and neurosurgery: integrating practice and research” was held at the Research Institute of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Neurosurgery

The Conference was held in full compliance with the modern concepts of specialist training and was authorized by the Coordination Council of the Ministry of Health of Russia on the Development of Continuing Medical and Pharmaceutical Education.
The Conference involved break-out sessions, education seminars, roundtables and workshops presenting scientific reports on current issues of traumatology, orthopedics and health care organization as well as current diagnostic and treatment methods.
Leading specialists from specialized federal medical scientific institutions (Russian Ilizarov Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopedics, Kurgan; The Turner Scientific Research Institute for Children’s Orthopedics, St. Petersburg; I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Moscow) participated in the Conference program.
The medical product exposition included modern samples of medical and pharmaceutical products and medical equipment.
The event had more than 450 participants, domestically from 25 regions of Russia, and internationally from Austria, Germany and the USA.
